New - Leaf Burdock - Actium lappa - Originally from China, this specialty vegetable has become famous in Japan. The roots of Burdock are called Gobo, while this variety is referred to as Ha Gobo, grown for it’s leaves. Very rarely found outside of Japan. The roots are smaller, to 6 inches long and are also edible. All parts are very nutritious full of fiber and minerals. The greens are planted in the spring directly in the garden or in small pots, 1/4 inch deep. Reaches full maturity in 70 days, the young leaves are most tender, add them to stir fry or salads. Roots are delicious in stir fry. This is a smaller seed packet of 10-15 seeds while supplies last.
